US has been the pioneer for adoption of Value based Care (VBC) followed by countries in Western Europe. The geographical scope of the study will be majorly US. The research study will provide an overview of the US Value Based Healthcare from Med Tech Industry perspective. The study will explore the underlying need and demand for value based care for the US market. To accommodate the clinical demand from aging and chronic populations, new care models outside of hospital settings will effectively utilize limited hospital resources. For effective delivery of value based care requires collaboration among different stakeholders like payers, providers, medical device manufacturers etc. Advanced technologies will allow many more acute conditions to be covered under the hospital at home care model and improve patient experiences and outcomes.
