According to the WHO, the monitoring of health inequity parameters is an important part of the health information system (HIS) of any country. Inequity monitoring includes collecting and disaggregating data (by age, sex, education, income, disability, and other factors), analyzing the information, and reporting the findings. Countries with a well-established digital health infrastructure, such as the United States, have a huge advantage. This research focuses on identifying digital health tools that support the movement towards achieving equitable health.
Techquity (equitable access to technology) is vital to achieving health equity and equal opportunity for healthcare services. The availability of digital tools increases the prospects of quick exposure/access to healthcare services.
